Brandon Ida

Community and Government Relations Manager, Kaiser Permanente
Brandon Ida is the Community and Government Relations Manager for Kaiser Permanente in Greater Sacramento. In this role, he works closely with federal, state, and local elected officials, as well as business and community organizations, to strengthen relationships in Placer and Sacramento Counties.
Before joining Kaiser Permanente, Brandon served as Senior Regional Affairs Representative for the Association of California Water Agencies, where he led coalition-building efforts on legislative and regulatory initiatives, managed outreach projects, and mentored staff.
He previously worked in the offices of U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer and U.S. Representative Doris Matsui, representing both officials in the community.
Brandon is a product of public education and a graduate of Sacramento State University, where he earned a B.A. in Government. He lives in Sacramento with his wife and their two young sons.
