Creating connections, inspiring collaboration, and cultivating community, the mission of the San Juan Education Foundation is to harness the combined power of philanthropy and partnership to propel student achievement and enrich the lives of educators. Founded in 1991, we provide support through the PROPEL Grant Program and a broad scholarship portfolio.

Annually, our Evening with the Stars gala recognizes prominent alumni who have been successful in their chosen profession and who have given back to the community. We are also fortunate to be the beneficiary of the Fair Oaks Chicken Run.

Established in 2009 by the San Juan Education Foundation in partnership with the San Juan Unified School District, the STARS Hall of Fame celebrates the remarkable accomplishments of San Juan Unified alumni who exemplify innovation, leadership, and excellence.

Recognizing that these exceptional alumni are supported by dedicated educators and a committed community, we've expanded our honors to also celebrate individuals who champion the mission of public education and shape its future through their contributions.

Distinguished San Juan Unified alumni who have made a lasting impact in their professional fields.
An individual or organization whose outstanding contributions have advanced the work of the Foundation or the District.
New in 2025: A former San Juan Unified educator (certificated or classified) whose lifetime of service shaped generations of students.
