Envisioning a San Juan Unified School District where funding is not a barrier to equitable opportunity and access.

Creating connections, inspiring collaboration, and cultivating community, the mission of the San Juan Education Foundation is to harness the combined power of philanthropy and partnership to propel student achievement and enrich the lives of educators. Founded in 1991, we provide support through the PROPEL Grant Program and a broad scholarship portfolio.

Annually, our Evening with the Stars gala recognizes prominent alumni who have been successful in their chosen profession and who have given back to the community. We are also fortunate to be the beneficiary of the Fair Oaks Chicken Run.

AN EVENING WITH THE STARS

Established in 2009 by the San Juan Education Foundation in partnership with the San Juan Unified School District, the STARS Hall of Fame celebrates the remarkable accomplishments of San Juan Unified alumni who exemplify innovation, leadership, and excellence. Celebrate with us at the An Evening with the STARS on Friday, October 10.

STEMPower Your Classroom

With support from the SMUD Shine Award, the San Juan Education Foundation is thrilled to announce the STEMpower Your Classroom opportunity—designed to help educators at Title I schools bring their STEM education vision to life. This initiative funds high-quality STEM kits, helping educators enhance hands-on exploration and environmental science instruction in the classroom. This is a first-come-first-served opportunity! PROPEL GRANT PROGRAM

The PROPEL Grant Program is open! Apply for a $500, $2500, or $7500 Grant today.

PROPEL TRANSFORMATION GRANT

Thanks to the generous support of Link Logistics, this grant provides school sites with up to $20,000 in infrastructure funding to expand access to essential resources and help create more equitable, inclusive learning environments. Only one application per school site will be accepted. Applications must either be submitted by the school site administrator or include their documented approval. We hope every school site applies!

Scholarships

More than 200 students applied for scholarships in our scholarship portfolio. Of those, 62 received awards totaling $75,550!
