Colleen Cadwallader

Colleen Cadwallader joined the San Juan Education Foundation in July 2021, succeeding the Foundation’s inaugural Executive Director, Pam Lapinski. With over 30 years of experience in program and business management, Colleen is deeply committed to public education, local community impact, and the transformative power of relationships.

Before joining the Foundation, Colleen served as Director of Grants and Program Development for the California State PTA, where she managed major foundation grants, collaborated with volunteers statewide, and led the School Smarts Family Engagement Program. Her career also includes leadership roles with the Sacramento Tree Foundation and the local Girl Scout Council.

As a 20-year Sacramento resident and a proud parent of two San Juan Unified students, Colleen is dedicated to strengthening the district through her expertise in nonprofit management, family engagement, and fundraising. She is passionate about fostering meaningful partnerships and ensuring every student has access to enriching educational opportunities.
