Catrayel Wood

Senior Budget & Policy Manager, Department of Justice

Catrayel is a dedicated public servant and senior budget and policy manager at the Department of Justice, with extensive experience in fiscal oversight. Previously, he managed budgets and policy for the EPA, supporting environmental protection through responsible financial management.

He holds a bachelor’s in Politics & International Relations from the University of London, London School of Economics, and an MBA. He serves on the San Juan Unified School District’s Curriculum and Standards Committee, advocating for student success.

As a district parent, Catrayel and his wife, JaNay Brown-Wood, actively support their local school through beautification projects, fundraisers, and the PTO. With a strong background in finance and policy, he is committed to ensuring the best opportunities for students, teachers, and families.
