John Finegan
Founder/Board Chair, Beck Ag, Inc.
John Finegan is founder/owner of Beck Ag, a data-driven information, sales and marketing firm. His family has lived in the Arden Park neighborhood since 2001. He has three children, Sean, a Rio Americano and Boston U grad, Morgan, a Dartmouth College grad who started Med school at USC in 2021 and Annie an incoming Rio Americano Freshman for the 2022/23 school year.
John graduated from Penn State Univ College of Agriculture and Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Business. He also served as a U. S. Peace Corps Ag Educator in the Philippines from 1979 - 1981.
John’s regional community-building focus is education and youth including these Board affiliations over the past 20 years: St. Hope Public Schools, STAND UP, Teach For America, City Year, Positive Coaching Alliance, SVP Sacramento, Powerhouse Science Center, Drexel Univ, YMCA of Superior California, RAFT, Capital Public Radio, Bring Me a Book, Reading Partners, GiveLocalNow (which evolved into BigDOG), Penn State Univ Entrepreneurs and Innovation Advisory Board, and the Entrepreneurs Organization/Sacramento Chapter.
John was a Founding Board Member of the San Juan Education Foundation and remains on our Board.
John Finegan
